The Purpose
The client wanted a long-lasting and low-maintenance solution that would improve the overall appearance of the garden.To achieve this, we recommended installing 54 m² of porcelain paving, which is highly durable, weather resistant, and easy to maintain. The project also included the removal of the existing patio, full ground preparation, and the installation of a Type 1 MOT sub-base to ensure a strong and stable foundation. In addition, we installed a 14-metre eco drain system and three manhole covers to improve water drainage and prevent future water accumulation.As part of the renovation, the paving area was extended and the existing wall was carefully dismantled and rebuilt with two new pillars, providing both structural support and an improved visual finish.

The Challenge
Ground conditions required careful excavation, the installation of Type 1 MOT, and thorough compaction to create a solid base that would prevent future movement or sinking of the paving.Another challenge involved installing the 14-metre eco drain system and integrating three manhole covers within the paving layout while maintaining proper drainage and a clean visual finish.In addition, the project required the careful removal of the existing wall and the construction of a new wall with two pillars, which involved creating proper foundations.Achieving a consistent, high-quality finish across the paving, grouting, and brickwork required careful planning and attention to detail throughout the project.
