The Purpose
The purpose of this landscaping project was to fully renovate the client’s front garden with a focus on durability, low maintenance, improved aesthetics, increased property value, and enhanced security. The client wanted a long-lasting solution, so we recommended installing a resin bound driveway, which can last up to 20 years and significantly increase the property’s value. The project also included rebuilding the existing brickwork, reconstructing the old five entrance steps with a new strong foundation and quality paving, and laying Victorian tiles at the front door to create a more elegant and visually appealing entrance.

The Challenge
The main challenge was that the existing sloped block paving driveway required extensive excavation before installing the new resin bound surface. The process involved several stages and depended heavily on good weather, as the concrete base needed proper curing time before the resin could be applied, with rain causing potential delays. The entrance steps were also misaligned and had to be rebuilt and re-rendered, while laying the intricate Victorian tiles required precision and skill due to their small size. Despite these challenges, our team completed the project on time and achieved a high-quality finish that satisfied the client.
