The Purpose
The purpose of this project was to transform an outdated outdoor area into a modern, clean, and functional space using Bodo White Porcelain paving. The design included a new pathway, concrete edging, and an ACO drainage system to improve water management and create a durable, low-maintenance finish. The project also involved concrete breaking and removal, as well as installing new concrete edging as requested by the client. In addition, the pathway was excavated and carefully set to match the same level as the existing patio near the house, ensuring a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The aim was to deliver a bright, contemporary space with strong structure and long-lasting performance.

The Challenge
The challenge was to transform an uneven, outdated outdoor area while working around limited access through the house. This included breaking out and removing old concrete and an existing wall, followed by full excavation and site preparation.
A key challenge was matching the new pathway level with the existing patio to create a smooth, seamless transition. Accurate setting out and level control were essential throughout.
The installation also required new concrete edging and an ACO drainage system, both needing precise planning to ensure proper drainage, stability, and a clean, long-lasting finish.
